Refunds & Returns

 

To begin the returns process, reach out to us at info@poweredpedals.co.uk. If your return request is approved, you'll receive instructions on where and how to send back your package. Please note that items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

If you're dissatisfied with your purchase, let us know via email at info@poweredpedals.com. Our Returns Policy grants you a 30-day window to return or exchange items with a valid receipt. However, if more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret that we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return, ensure that your item is in its original packaging, with tags attached, and in the same condition as when you received it. You must also provide proof of purchase. Please be aware that the 30-day return period is designed to allow you to inspect the goods as you would in a store. For a full refund, the items must be returned in an "as new" condition, meaning they are resaleable. 

Restocking Fee

If the item has been opened and assembled/ part assembled then a restocking fee of 20% of the cost of sale will be applied to the return. 

In all cases of returns, an estimated £75 shipping fee is charged to the customer as part of the return for boxed bikes. This may vary when returning unboxed bikes. 

Your statutory rights remain unaffected by our Returns Policy. If any part of our Returns Policy conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights will take precedence, and the conflicting portion of our Returns Policy will be considered inapplicable.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a 30-day right to reject the item, and under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014, you have a 14-day right to return it.

If you're returning an item due to a change of mind, please note that there will be a charge to cover delivery costs and a restocking fee.

Damages and Issues

At Powered Pedals, we strive for your satisfaction with every order. Upon receiving your order, please inspect it thoroughly. If you find any defects, damages, or receive the wrong item, kindly contact us immediately. We will promptly assess the issue and take necessary steps to rectify it.

We strongly recommend examining all items upon delivery. If you notice any damage, we advise against accepting the delivery. Instead, please provide clear photos of the damaged items to info@poweredpedals.co.uk, allowing us to initiate an insurance claim on your behalf.

If your electric bike develops a fault during normal use, you may be eligible for repair or replacement as per the manufacturer's warranty. Please email us the details of the fault at info@poweredpedals.co.uk, and we'll coordinate the necessary repair or replacement with the manufacturer. Please note that misuse of the bike is not covered under this policy. It's essential to thoroughly review the manufacturer's manual before using your electric bike to avoid voiding the warranty.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return, including perishable goods, custom products, and personal care items. Additionally, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, and gases cannot be returned. If you have any questions about the eligibility of your item for return, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Exchanges

We recommend returning the original item and placing a separate order for the new one once the return is processed.

Refunds

Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we'll notify you of the approval of your refund. If approved, the refund will be automatically issued to your original payment method, with any applicable delivery fees deducted. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Cancellations

Orders cancelled after 12 hours may be subject to additional fees. If your order has already been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for the return shipping costs. Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used for the order.

Returns

Am I able to return my order?
You can only return your item within 30 days of it being received.
(To qualify for a return, the product must be unused and in it's original packaging. This means that your bike has not been ridden)

Can I cancel my order?
Please contact our team on info@poweredpedals.co.uk ASAP after your purchase to cancel your order. Orders cancelled before leaving the manufacturer can be refunded free or charge.
